Regeneration in a New Context Event

This aim of this event was to help practitioners:

  • manage the end of the Fairer Scotland Fund (FSF) ring fence
  • maintain anti poverty/regeneration strategies during a harsh economic climate.

There was also an opportunity to discuss the 2008/09 performance reporting arrangements for the FSF and Single Outcome Agreements (SOAs).

The event - on August 27, 2009, at Stirling Management Centre - responded to needs expressed by the Community Regeneration and Tackling Poverty Learning Network and the Community Planning Network. The learning network will now pull the key issues raised into a learning point which will be available soon. We'll also facilitate action learning sets for those who wish to work locally to embed the lessons from the day. For more information please contact heather.smith@scotland.gsi.gov.uk.
