Since the introduction of the new planning system, the Scottish Government has been asking a number of individuals to share their experiences. These are personal contributions, not those of the organisations for whom the individuals work. We will continue to share their thought and the experiences of others throughout 2010.

- Planning Solicitor: Craig Adamson is a solicitor with HBJ Gateley Wareing.
- Planning Consultant: Anthony Aitken leads the planning team of Colliers CRE in Scotland from their Edinburgh office.
- Specialist Consultant: Euan Hutchison is a Development Project Manager with Natural Power Consultants Ltd in Castle Douglas.
- Developer: Alistair Landells is a Senior Development Planner at Banks Developments Ltd.
- Planning Consultant: Gordon Thomson is a Senior Planner with Barton Willmore.
