Forums enable the sharing of experience, advice and good practice so that issues of procedure and process can be resolved locally.In Delivering Planning Reform the Scottish Government committed to providing opportunities to discuss the new system.

A National Forum is held by the Scottish Government on an annual basis.

Strategic Environmental Assessment

The initial forum was held in November 2009

The second SEA forum was held in June 2010. It was Chaired by the Scottish Wildlife trust and focused on SEA and climate change.
