Contribution to NPF Strategy

  • Expands opportunities for communities and businesses by promoting environmental quality and good connectivity.
  • Supports the delivery of a sufficient supply of new homes in places where people want to live.
  • Helps to reduce Scotland's carbon footprint and facilitates adaptation to climate change.
Milestones2009 onwards - Liaison by delivery partners and Scottish Water to align long term investment in water and drainage infrastructure in accordance with Scottish Water's quality investment programme, the spatial priorities identified in this Framework and the development priorities identified in development plans. Consider the need for environmental assessment, appropriate assessment and detailed scheme level mitigation at plan or project level.
