| Progress | July, 2011 - The Upper Forth Development Framework Study has been commissioned by Scottish Enterprise and involves Falkirk Council and industry stakeholders. Its focus is primarily on identifying economic growth prospects for the chemical and logistics industries in the Falkirk Grangemouth area. It is expected to be completed by July 2011. March, 2010 - Meeting to discuss proposed "development framework" for the Upper Forth / Falkirk-Grangemouth area which would provide a focus for optimising the area's strengths as a location for the chemical industries and for optimising the transport elements of the National Development. Scottish Enterprise has completed a study into opportunities and challenges for industry in the chemical sciences, renewables and logistics sectors in the Upper Forth area, centres on Grangemouth |
