Contribution to NPF Strategy

  • Encourages a sufficient supply of homes which are affordable and in places where people want to live.
  • Supports strong, sustainable growth for the benefit of all parts of Scotland,
Milestones2009 onwards - Deliver in line with Government's planning policy for housing through the preparation of development plans, Local Housing Strategies, Strategic Housing Investment Plans, masterplans, development briefs and development management decisions and consider the need for environmental assessment, appropriate assessment and detailed scheme level mitigation at plan or project level.

The Innovation and Investment Fund for 2011-2012 aims to allow all suppliers to build new affordable housing. It is split into three funding streams:
