2009 -2012 - Implementation of Raploch URC Ltd 2004 business plan. Consider the need for environmental assessment, appropriate assessment and detailed scheme level mitigation at plan or project level.

Progress

Green Arena project launched in 2009 which aims to use sites awaiting redevelopment as temporary landscape and green spaces until development recommences post-recession.

May 2009 - identified as SSCI exemplar project

Green Area granted planning approval, to commence on site 2009/10

Drip Road Traffic calming completed. Completed 50 social rented homes in partnership with Ford Housing Association site 5 completed and sold. 118 private for sale homes on site 5 awarded funding from the Town Centre Regeneration fund to design and construct a mixed use low carbon development and also to construct a new training centre for the Sustainable Community Enterprise
