Bob has 25 years experience in regeneration with extensive knowledge of both the private and the public sector.
He began his career in the Structural/Civil Engineering sector. In 1995 Bob moved over to the public sector, when he joined the senior management team of a Glasgow economic development company. During his 7 years with the company, Bob was successful in initiating and developing a number of innovative commercial and social projects. These projects had a substantial impact on the economic and social development of the area.
In 2002, Bob was recruited by Stirling Council, Joint Ventures. It was not long after, however, that Bob was asked to take responsibility for taking forward the project to regenerate the deprived area of Raploch. This is a job he has successfully delivered for almost 10 years helping to secure European funding and developing construction skills to help employment opportunities for young people who live, and work, in Raploch.
