Which local authorities are procuring homes through the first phase of the NHT initiative?

The participating Councils are willing to fund the procurement of up to a maximum of 1,025 homes. The final number of homes provided through this phase will depend on the results of the procurement process to ensure any homes built are of the right quality, type and size and are in the right location to be suitable for affordable housing and also offer good value for money to the public purse.

Please Note: While Dumfries and Galloway, East Lothian, East Renfrewshire, Glasgow City and Midlothian Councils initially sought to procure units through the NHT initiative they are no longer proceeding in Phase 1 and have been removed from the above table.
