Housebuilding Infrastructure Loan Fund

Up to £10m is being provided in loan funding by the Scottish Government to support the provision of on-site enabling physical infrastructure and other work genuinely required to commence house-building projects and thereby accelerate housebuilding in the current economic climate.

These pages provide information on eligibility for the fund, the assessment process, the terms under which loan funding will be offered and the arrangements that the Scottish Government will put in place regarding payment of loans to successful applicants and the management of repayment. In addition, it provides guidance on completion of the application form for the fund, which all applicants are required to complete and submit.

The application process has been designed in order to secure all the information needed for an effective appraisal. However, the Scottish Government reserves the right to seek further clarification from individual applicants in order to ensure a fair assessment process. In addition, if potential applicants require further information about this guidance, or about completing the application form, they should send an email. The mailbox will be monitored regularly during the day and any queries will be dealt with as quickly as possible.

The Scottish Government may, as appropriate, issue clarifications to this information or related information about the fund on its website during the period up to the submission of applications (October 21). Feedback and any queries from potential applicants will be used to guide the need for additional information or clarification of existing information.

Any additional information will be highlighted clearly on these web pages and potential applications should therefore check them regularly.
