| 2009/15 | New Supply Shared Equity with Developers Trial - SUPERSEDED BY HIGN 2010/05 This Guidance Note provides operational guidance for Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) who will be involved in the New Supply Shared Equity with Developers Trial ('the Trial scheme'). The Trial Scheme will be based on the Scottish Government's New Supply Shared Equity Scheme Administrative Procedures tailored to meet core criteria that Developers must meet. The Guidance Note also highlights particular sections in the New Supply Shared Equity Scheme Administrative Procedures that will not apply to the Trial scheme. Revised legal documentation (annexed to the New Supply Shared Equity Scheme Administrative Procedures) will be issued to RSLs in due course. |
2009/14 | National HAG Subsidy Target Benchmark - SUPERSEDED BY HIGN 2010/06 This Guidance comes into effect immediately and supersedes HIGN 2009/06. This Guidance Note - explains the application of the HAG Subsidy Target (HST) regime as outlined in the Housing Association Grant Procedures Guide;
- explains the National HST Benchmark of £68,500 against which individual projects (or Route 1 programmes) will be assessed for the remainder of 2009/10;
- contains, in the attached excel workbook, the data and calculations used in obtaining the new National HST Benchmark; and
- makes clear that some projects for example in remote rural areas with high construction or infrastructure costs may not be deliverable within the national HST Benchmark, but that grant will still be approvable for such projects on their merit.

| 2009/13 | Grant for Mid Market Rent - Administrative Procedures for Grant Providers and Grant Applicants Superseded by 2010/02 This guidance note provides detailed administrative procedures for Mid Market Rent Housing funded by Scottish Government and provided by RSL subsidiaries. This guidance takes immediate effect, but any funding for MMR must for the time being be contained within existing resource allocations. Proposals for MMR funding in future years should be incorporated in RSLs' Strategy and Development Funding Plans, and should reflect SHIP priorities. |
| 2009/12 | Shared Equity: Owners in regeneration areas - Rights of Succession This guidance note tells you about a change to the Shared Equity Minute of Agreement between the Scottish Ministers and a Shared Equity Owner. This change relates only to owners in regeneration areas whose homes are subject to demolition and who will take ownership of replacement Shared Equity properties. The revised Shared Equity Agreement gives owners whose homes are subject to demolition in regeneration areas the option when they die of transferring the replacement Shared Equity property to their children as well as their spouse. The change applies retrospectively to existing Shared Equity owners who previously owned homes in regeneration areas which were demolished. |
