The Ladyfield proposal is for a new mixed neighbourhood of around 450 houses, a village centre with shops and business units, and open space and community facilities. Central to the scheme is the provision of residential accommodation, with an emphasis on affordable housing, that will be located close to existing employment areas, redressing the existing imbalance in the area.
