The London 2012 Inspire Programme recognises outstanding projects and events inspired by London 2012 across the themes of sport, culture, education, volunteering, sustainability and business. The Inspire Programme is an Olympic and Paralympic first and offers non-commercial organisations across the UK to link their organisation and events to London 2012.
More than 1,000 projects and events currently have the 'Inspired by London 2012' branding.
Presentation about the programme
Here in Scotland an Inspire mark programmer is seeking new projects to get involved with the Inspire programme. Scotland is in a unique position: the Olympics are coming north of the border with football matches taking place at Hampden, and it is also holding the Commonwealth Games in 2014. There is a great opportunity to make sure Scotland gets the benefits of this, inspires a new generation and builds a legacy over the next four years.
