The Scottish Government has created a sub-group of key stakeholders to consider legacy ideas within the Wealthier and Fairer Government objective. Membership

Remit of the Sub-Group:

To use the Games to help achieve the Scottish Government's commitment to enable businesses and people to increase their wealth and more people to share fairly in that wealth.

To this end, the sub group will support the work of the Games Legacy Executive Board by:

• Maximising the opportunities for business growth before, during and after the Games
• Maximising the opportunities of this growth to impact positively on the employment and skills of the Scottish workforce
• Positioning Scotland as an attractive place to live, work and visit, particularly to an international audience
• Through all of the above maximise equality of opportunity, ensuring economic benefits are secured by disadvantaged groups
