DescriptionThe report is an analysis of responses to a consultation on Private sector housing issues for possible inclusion in the Housing (Scotland) Bill. The consultation proposed changes in three different areas of private housing law, landlord registration, Houses of Multiple Occupancy (HMO) licensing, and powers in the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 for local authorities to deal with disrepair in privately owned houses.
