Section 3: Implementation
Structure
The following table details the plan deliverables, how each will be progressed and current status:

Many of the deliverables contained within the plan have already been initiated and, in some instances, good progress made. Lead organisations have been identified for each deliverable, and key to implementation will be the coordination of these initiatives, not least to enable ongoing identification of potential opportunities for further collaboration, both within this plan and across the wider Safer and Stronger agenda.
The Review and this plan were both achieved through collaboration between partners and it is preferable to sustain this approach through implementation. Therefore, rather than overlaying a separate programme management structure, it is proposed that implementation be coordinated through the Community Safety Unit Programme Office.
During the planning phase, direction was provided through the Expert Advisory Group ( EAG). This group will be asked to continue to provide oversight for implementation and will be updated on progress regularly through correspondence.
Governance and reporting
A range of tools will be developed to support governance and reporting and will be available as a web-based resource. Where possible existing, familiar documents will be used and adapted if necessary. Tools will include:
- Terms of Reference
- Project Plans
- Risk Log and Risk Resolution Plan
- Issues Log and Issues Resolution Plan
- Highlight reports
Progress against the plan will be updated quarterly and will be available via the website www.scotland.gov.uk/communitysafety. This will form the basis of the annual report to Parliament.
