Review of Building Standards - Section 6 (Energy) Reducing CO2 Emission and Energy Demand [Building]

The Scottish Government is committed to addressing Climate Change and, as part of this process, reducing carbon dioxide emissions from buildings. The Sullivan Report - 'A Low Carbon Building Standards Strategy for Scotland' (2007) includes amongst its recommendations, staged improvements to energy standards for new buildings in 2010 and 2013 with the aspiration of net zero carbon buildings by 2016/17 if practicable.
