In accordance with Section 40 of the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005, Scottish Ministers are required to prepare a document setting out priorities and objectives for Scotland's Fire and Rescue Authorities. This was last done in 2005. Scottish Ministers are required to keep the Framework under review. This new document fulfills this legislative requirement.
The Framework aims to support NHSScotland as part of an ongoing commitment to evidence based clinical practice by improving consistency of care, reducing clinical variation and creating the right cultural and organisational conditions required to support change.
