The researchers would like to record their thanks to everyone who was involved in helping to organise this baseline study in each of the four National Health Service Development Sites for the Review of Nursing in the Community in Scotland.
The help of those NHS staff in administering the survey was particularly valuable and contributed to a good response rate across the four NHS Development Sites.
NHS staff were supportive in their efforts to identify suitable interviewees, to co-ordinate interviews and to participate.
The researchers would like to thank all community nurse participants in this baseline study and their patients and clients who so readily shared their experiences and views of community nursing.
