Strategic Environmental Assessment
Post Adoption Statement
This document sets out the Post Adoption Statement which accompanies the Environmental report for the West Edinburgh planning Framework 2008 ( WEPF). These documents have been prepared in line with the Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (now superseded).
The Post Adoption Statement sets out:
- A summary of the Strategic Environment Process;
- A summary of how opinions arising from the consultation have been taken into account;
- Reasons for adopting the WEPF approach in light of other reasonable alternatives;
- Mitigations flowing from the Environmental Report which have been adopted into the WEPF; and
- A record of the opinions expressed during the consultation.

The environmental baseline used to inform the Strategic Environmental Assessment remains available on the government's website, in the Draft Environmental Report.
