SCHOOLS OF AMBITION RESEARCH REPORT
Please find enclosed the Schools of Ambition Annual Research Report for 2008. Schools of Ambition (SofA) is a Scottish Government initiative to fast track transformational change in secondary schools. The report provides an informative insight into the progress of Schools of Ambition programme schools from the perspective of practitioners themselves.
We hope that sharing the experiences of some of the other Schools of Ambition can help you in the process of improving the educational outcomes and experiences of young people.
Although very readable the report is quite lengthy and I would like to draw your attention to the introductory Executive Summary in the first instance.
