Acknowledgement
We wish to thank Clackmannanshire Council staff, stakeholders, service users and carers for the warm welcome that they extended to us at all stages of this inspection. We are grateful to those who took the time to fill in and return our questionnaires. We would also like to thank the staff from Social Services who helped us to carry out the case file audit at the beginning of the inspection process.
We found those we met during our fieldwork responded openly to our questions and were enthusiastic in the way they shared information and views with us.
We would like to thank the two co-ordinators involved in working with us during the inspection process. We very much appreciated the way the co-ordinator who stepped in at the beginning of fieldwork managed the process. She made sure that the complex and full timetable progressed smoothly over the two week period.
