Various Programmes
People Exchange - One option open to managers and leaders in an organisation who wish to develop an area of skills or expertise. The programme is designed to meet the particular development needs of this group and encourage movement across different sectors sharing skills, experience and practice along the way.
Change through People - This unique programme focuses on the people dimension of the change process in Scottish public and voluntary services. The emphasis in the programme is on strategies and practical approaches to achieving change, with specific attention to the individual leadership role. A major value of the programme is the opportunity to apply and rehearse approaches with public service peers.
Clinical Directors - The Medical Directors, in partnership with their clinical colleagues, have identified the need to provide structured development for existing Medical and Nursing Directors, Directors of Public Health and Directors of Managed Clinical Networks.
Collaborative Leadership - Focused on building a cohort of 21st century public service leaders who will help to deliver public service reform. It aims to enable future leaders in Scotland's public services - in the public, private and voluntary sectors - to work more effectively in complex partnership groups, such as in community planning, urban regeneration and child protection.
Masterclasses at the blcc - Breaking New Ground is a series of Masterclasses at the blcc in Dunfermline that provides you with a set of practical tools and techniques to help you succeed in both your personal and professional life. You will learn how to apply various leadership skills and build a network of like-minded people who are working at the leading edge. Each masterclass stands alone. There are special reductions for SLF members and for booking several in the series.
Women At The Heartof Leadership - Women at the Heart of Leadership is a leadership support initiative for women across private, public and voluntary sectors. It aims to provide an inclusive, practical and mutually supportive environment for women to learn, share experience and develop their leadership capability and confidence.
