Better Health, Better Care: A Discussion Document formed the basis of a consultation in 2007 on the priorities for health and well being in Scotland. The consultation provided an opportunity for the public, patients and staff to participate and give comment on the Government's key objectives for health and led to the publication of the Better Health, Better Care: Action Plan in December 2007.
A total of 563 responses were received from individuals and organisations during the Better Health, Better Care consultation.. The responses are published here.
For confidentiality, all respondents were required to fill out a Respondent Information Form (RIF). Those responses without a RIF have not been published on the website. Some respondents requested that their comments or personal information not be made available, these also, have not been published.
A small number of responses contained abusive language, defamatory content or identified people who may not wish to be identified and these responses have been removed.
All responses however, were included and analysed as part of the consultation process.
