The Scottish Centre for Social Research (ScotCen) was commissioned by the Scottish Executive to evaluate the alcohol test purchasing pilot in Fife. The aim of the pilot is to assess test purchasing arrangements to enable common procedures and operating protocols to be developed to ensure that alcohol test purchasing can be carried out safely, fairly and effectively in a Scottish context. This is the interim evaluation report and covers the period June to November/December 2006.
