⁸ In the case of the National Standards this is not the only relevant policy to which the tool relates. It provides guidance on all aspects of public policy in which community engagement is central. These are brought together, particularly, in the contexts of community planning, community regeneration and health improvement. Nonetheless, the WALT guidance emphasises a key role for CLD in supporting community engagement.
