Cathy Craig largely designed and maintained the WFF ACCESS Evaluation Database and provided considerable support to LAs using the database. A major role was played by other Napier staff, in particular Robert Raeside, Malcolm Greig and Colin Lindsay, plus support form Piotr Jaworski and Alec Richard. In addition other ERI staff made valuable contributions. Staff at the Centre for Research of Families and Relationships ( CRFR) at Edinburgh University, particularly Kathryn Backett-Milburn and Sarah Cunningham-Burley wrote part of the literature review. Considerable valuable support was also provided by various Scottish Executive officials at all stages of the evaluation and, of course, by the local authorities and project workers who gathered much of the data. The many WFF clients showed great patience in providing the necessary information.
