NB: some results may be subject to large percentage sampling errors, being based on small numbers of cases - hence the apparent fluctuations in the "Surface rail" figures, for example. The "all modes" estimate of 7,550 for 1998/2000 has a "95% confidence interval" of about +/- 8%, so the apparent fall in 2004/2005 may just reflect sampling variability.
