CONSULTATION ON PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE NATIONAL CARE STANDARDS FOR CARE HOMES FOR OLDER PEOPLE

I invite you to comment on the enclosed consultation paper. It contains proposals to revise the National Care Standards for Care Homes for Older People in respect of price transparency and complaints procedures. These proposals have been made in response to the recommendations in the Office of Fair Trading Report on Care Homes for Older People. The consultation paper is also available online at www.scotland.gov.uk/consultations.
