8. Consultation
Following on from the Environmental Report, the 4th and 5th stage of the SEA process are adoption and monitoring. Prior to this there was an opportunity for all stakeholders to comment on the findings of this report.
In particular stakeholder views were sought in relation to:
- The main findings of the environmental report
- Any additional areas requiring focus
- The appropriateness of the preferred approach
- The viability of highlighted alternative approaches
- The viability of any further alternative approaches
This document was placed on the Scottish Executive Web site and this was widely advertised via a newspaper announcement and emails to the Scottish Executive's data base..Hard copies of the report were sent out if requested.
The consultation period ended on 3 July 2006.
