The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 56(7) and (8)(j), 134, 146(2) and 147(1) of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005( 21) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Occasional Licence (Scotland) Regulations 2006 and shall come into force on 2006.
Form of occasional licence
2. An occasional licence is to be in the form set out in Schedule 1.
Application for an occasional licence
3. An occasional licence application is to be in the form set out in Schedule 2.

Notes
1. Section 56 of the Licensing (Scotland) Act requires that only:-
- The holder of a premises licence;
- The holder of a personal licence; or
- A representative of any voluntary organisation
are eligible to apply for an occasional licence
2. Where alcohol is to be sold for consumption on the premises, the Act requires that a clear statement be made as to whether children or young persons are to be allowed entry and, if they are, a statement of the terms on which they are allowed entry
