Many of those involved in road safety gave up their time to be interviewed, sometimes at length, on the feasibility of a Road Safety Charter. Particular thanks go to those who have worked on developing the 'Steps to Safety' road safety charter.
Thanks must also go to the head teachers at the many schools with which I had contact. I was welcomed into their schools to learn about their existing achievements and their views of a charter, when they were already extremely busy. Their views were much appreciated.
