Notes to Table A3.1:
1. Out of a total of 65 job descriptions provided for SEERAD there were 11 for which no band or pay range was indicated. For one of the SEERAD job descriptions the Group was not known.
2. A total of 193 job descriptions were reviewed. Of these, there were six for which the Department was not known but for which the band was indicated. There therefore a difference of six between the Total for all Departments figure (of 187) and the overall total of job descriptions (of 193).
3. The Totals by Band figures include the six job descriptions for which the band was known but the Department was not known (see note 2). These figures exclude the eleven SEERAD job descriptions for which the band or pay range was not indicated. Hence the total number of job descriptions reviewed for which the band was known was 182.
