1. The second 'state of readiness' questionnaire was issued on 3 ^rd February. Participants were invited to respond by 23 ^rd February. The aim is to submit a report to the next Steering Group meeting on 16 ^th March.
2. There is already been greater participation from ADSW children and families managers and from CPC co-ordinators and a completed response from VSS/ WS.
3. The task of raising awareness at local level has been pursued through Local Authority multi-agency Child Protection Committees in Inverness, Edinburgh and Dundee in addition to the national lead officer's group. At present similar meetings are also arranged in Kilmarnock, Dumfries, Glenrothes Fife, Aberdeen and Glasgow.
4. There are no other matters for discussion at this time, however members are invited to raise any issues relating to the audit, pending its completion and report.
