Consolidation of the TSE (Scotland) Regulations are now required to consolidate and update the existing domestic legislation, reduce repetition of powers in the regulations, and address issues that have arisen since the TSE Regulations 2002 came into force. These amendments impact the procedures that are used in the feeding, slaughter, export and import, placing on the market, inspection and movement of bovine, ovine and caprine animals.
