2. SCOPE
2.1 This document provides guidance for Scottish Government staff on:
· The policy and legislation relating to potato ring rot.
· Symptoms and factors relevant to its prevention, detection and control
· Procedures for surveillance and detection of potato ring rot
· Procedures for the management of any outbreak of potato ring rot.
2.2 Responsibility for this Plan lies with the SG Plant Health Service (Policy, Operations and Science) as described in the Generic Contingency Plan for Plant Health Incidents.
