TRANSFER OF SCOTTISH RENEWABLE OBLIGATION CONTRACTS - CONSULTATION

DescriptionThis consultation will seek views on the transfer of Scottish Renewable Obligation (SRO) contracts. Currently, SRO output can only be contracted by or sold to the two Scottish successor supply companies. We will seek views on changing these arrangements to allow a full auction of SRO output by a neutral third party. The consultation will also seek views on changes to the Fossil Fuel Levy Regulations (Scotland) 1996.
