A major review of health & care statistics in Scotland is currently underway with a view to ensuring that the genuine needs for information for analysis, policy development, monitoring, planning and service delivery are being met, and that priorities for new developments are identified. This document presents the results from the phase 1 consultation exercise which was carried out between 8 ^th February and 8 ^th March 2005. The objective of this first consultation was to confirm the respondent's interests, collect high level views and obtain information to enable and inform a more focussed second phase consultation. The phase 2 consultation will be carried out during May 2005.
