    Do you need to know the line on tackling antisocial behaviour?

    We all - the Scottish Executive and local agencies - have a responsibility to tackle antisocial behaviour more effectively. That's why the Antisocial Behaviour etc (Scotland) Act has been brought in.

    The Executive is committed to supporting those of you who are working directly with local people in the fight against antisocial behaviour. We want to ensure that you are aware of the Act's new powers and feel confident about using them.

    The Executive has set up a national telephone line for professionals who are tackling antisocial behaviour. The advice line is a free service, staffed by specialists.

    The advice line won't just provide practical advice and information on the Antisocial Behaviour Act, but on all aspects of antisocial behaviour - prevention, early intervention and diversion, enforcement and rehabilitation, including other relevant legislation.
