- The Sheep Annual Premium Scheme
This Scheme provides for the payment of an annual premium to sheepmeat producers. Payment is based on the number of female sheep that, by the last day of a specified 100-day retention period, have either:
- given birth to a lamb; or
- attained the age of 12 months.
The payment is in the form of a flat rate premium. A supplementary payment (Less-Favoured Area (LFA) supplement) is available to eligible producers who submitted an IACS Area Aid Application (AAA) form by the deadline of 15 May.
