The Prevention of Environmental Pollution from Agricultural Activity(PEPFAA) Dos and Don'ts Guide was produced by the Scottish Executive with the assistance of members of the Scottish Agricultural Pollution Group(SAPG) which includes NFU Scotland, SAC and SEPA working in partnership with the Executive.
The guidance is intended to protect and enhance Scotland's environment in line with the vision presented in the Scottish Executive's Forward Strategy for Scottish Agriculture.
The full version of the PEPFAA Code is currently under review and will be available later in 2003. The Code provides further detail behind the messages of the PEPFAA Dos and Don'ts Guide for farmers, agricultural contractors, agricultural advisers, academics or others with an interest in the farmed environment or on whom there is a statutory obligation to avoid causing pollution of the agricultural environment.
