FM welcomes PM

14/05/2010

First Minister Alex Salmond welcomed Prime Minister David Cameron to St Andrew's House in Edinburgh today following the formation earlier this week of the UK's new coalition Government.

The new Secretary of State for Scotland Danny Alexander was also greeted by the FM and Finance Secretary John Swinney before all four entered the building for discussions.

Afterwards, Mr Salmond said there had been an extremely positive hearing that was more substantive than he had expected in terms of examination of the issues.
