Responding to the report on the future of Britain's electricity networks by the Energy and Climate Change Committee at the UK Parliament, Energy Minister Jim Mather said:
"The Scottish Government notes the specific concerns raised within the report in regard to locational charging.
"Scotland has the opportunity to be the clean green energy powerhouse of Europe. In order to meet this ambition it is imperative that we have a fair playing field for companies to exploit our vast renewable resources."
