Funding success for third sector

Almost 300 organisations have applied for support from the Scottish Government's £12 million Enterprise Fund.
The fund was launched in January to help organisations become more sustainable and increase their capacity.
It has received 296 applications, of which 87 have been successful to date. As a result of the Enterprise Fund's success, it will close to new applications on Friday, November 13, 2009.
The new Resilience Fund, developed with Third Sector partners, was opened on Friday to mitigate the impacts of recession on some organisations.
