Non-Executive Director, Sandy Begbie
Sandy is the Group People and Transformation Director at Standard Life, a role which he was appointed to in May 2010.
He is responsible for managing and delivering organisational change and to create the new fit for purpose organisation.
Previously Sandy has held HR Director roles at AEGON UK (2007-2010) and Scottish Power (2000-2007).
Sandy has also held a range of functional responsibilities at the Royal Bank of Scotland (1983-2000), including Leadership, Management and Talent Development, Business Change, Organisation Development and Training and Reward.
Sandy is also a Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a former elected member of the Wharton Business School Executive Education Advisory Board, Philadelphia USA from 2004-2010.
Sandy will share his expertise into current transformation projects at Standard Life.
