Performance at a Glance

Scotland PerformsThis page summarises our assessment of the Purpose Targets and National Indicators, which are shown in more detail elsewhere in Scotland Performs. It provides an 'at a glance' snapshot of how Scotland and the Government are doing, rather than a comprehensive measurement of every activity undertaken to achieve the Purpose and National Outcomes.

Like the rest of Scotland Performs, this page is a live document, with information and assessments being updated as and when new data comes on-stream, so that the latest available overview of Scotland's progress is accessible to all. Over time, as more data will become available and 2007 baselines can be set, we will expand and deepen our analysis. As it develops, 'Performance at a Glance' will provide a useful 'first-stop' for anyone seeking an overall picture of the state of Scotland.
