Summer Cabinet Stirling - Aug 9 & 10, 2010

The Scottish Cabinet gathered in Stirling on August 9 & 10 for their first ever meeting in the city.

Stirling is Scotland's youngest city - one of six towns in the UK granted city status by the Queen to mark her Golden Jubilee in 2002.

It has unmistakeable landmarks in the Castle and Wallace Monument which bear to witness to a turbulent past at the heart of key events which shaped modern Scotland.
