• Manage Scotland's reputation, build relationships and promote our interests in the UK, Europe and the world
• To promote Scotland as a place to live, work, learn, do business and invest
• Manage the Scottish Government's relationship with the Crown and the Parliament
• Manage the Scottish Government interests in secondary and primary legislation
• Develop and co-ordinate the Scottish Government's response to the Scotland Bill
• Introduce electoral reform for local government elections in Scotland
• Develop, implement and promote policy to enhance our cultural and creative wealth
