At the meeting of the Scottish Cabinet held on 27 May 2008, it was agreed to hold a yearly programme of events - centred around a Cabinet meeting - at different locations across Scotland, during the summer recess.
Each 2-day programme would provide an opportunity for the Ministerial team to engage with communities, meet a range of stakeholders and discuss the Scottish Government's proposals for taking forward the strategic priorities.
