
Bruce Crawford has been a Mid Scotland & Fife MSP since 1999 and from May 2007 MSP for Stirling.
He was appointed Minister for Parliamentary Business in the Office of the First Minister when the new Scottish Government was formed after the 2007 election.
From 1988 to 2001 Mr Crawford was a councillor in Perth and Kinross and from 1995 to 1999 he was the Council Leader and a Board member of Scottish Enterprise Tayside, Perthshire Tourist Board and Perth College.
Born in Perth in 1955, Mr Crawford was a civil servant for 25 years between 1974 and 1999. He is married with three children and lives in Kinross. In his leisure time he enjoys football, golf, and swimming.
